The organization has a general consultant status at the UN and is politically and is religiously independent. CARE helps people in difficult situations such as floods, droughts and earthquakes, and supports the areas at least with the elementary help. At the same time  CARE together with people from the affected areas develop sustainable long-term strategy to improve the local situation. The organization helps extremely poor people adapt to changing environmental conditions. Every year CARE helps by its projects to more than 120 million people all over the world. Photo exhibition CARE addresses the impacts of climate change on people. Especially in the poorer parts of the world where more and more people suffer from the effects of climate change. The photos you can see at the exhibition show people who are involved in the CARE programs. It does not show only those who suffer from the consequences of climate change, and the way of living with the consequences of disasters, but also tell the individual life stories of people and gives you insight into this life. You might find out how important is the responsible approach to the future of the planet thanks to the exhibition. Photos and information are provided to increase your awareness of the impacts of climate change and encourage the public to further the debate on the issue and actions.
