The French beauty brand L‘Occitane en Provence offers premium natural cosmetics for women and men, including skin, body and hair care products, perfumes and a wide variety of home products such as scented candles, home perfumes and diffusers. All products are made using traditional methods with natural ingredients from Provence and the Mediterranean. The products are inspired by the origin of all ingredients which have traceable origin and meet the highest quality standards. L’Occitane prefers to use essential oils and other plant ingredients and strongly limits the usage of parabens, silicones, chemical SPF factors or phthalates. The company also limits its impact on the environment and directly cooperates with more than 100 French farmers in order to provide the highest quality of its sustainable ingredients.

L‘Occitane was founded by Olivier Baussan in 1976 and you can find its factory in Manosque, in the heart of Provence. Today the company operates on 5 continents.

Social responsibility has always been a key part of the company’s culture. L’Occitane is commited to several causes – it fights avoidable blindness, supports the economic emancipation of women in Burkina Faso and also supports local producers and craftsmen in Provence. In 2006, L’Occitane created its Foundation to better carry out these initiatives.
